Samsung Omnia launch in Italy

image According to GSM Arena the Samsung Omnia will be launched in Italy on the 22nd July and will be available in all major European countries and other GSM markets before the end of August. This looks like a great phone to us and we will be getting one in to review as soon as possible so watch this space. More details after the break.

image Based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, the Samsung i900 Omnia offers a 3.2-inch WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels) and an optical mouse much like the one found in the Samsung i780. Samsung i900 Omnia is also boasting a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with face and smile detection plus auto-panorama shot. Geotagging is also among the camera features since the i900 also packs a built-in GPS receiver.

As style has it, the Samsung i900 Omnia waistline is only 12.5mm and the brushed metal back certainly adds to its refined looks. 8 and 16 GB versions of the Omnia will be available with all of them sporting a microSD card slot for expanding the memory even further.
