Carphone Warehouse is giving customers the opportunity to get their hands on an iPhone for the super value price of 50p a day (£17 a month), making it cheaper than a chocolate bar, pint of milk or bus ticket. This is the first time that an iPhone contract has been available for under £20 a month at Carphone Warehouse, and will allow a new group of customers to get their hands on the premium Apple iPhone 4 handset.

The new tariff, available on Friday 10th May, has been introduced by Carphone Warehouse in response to a growing number of consumers who want smartphones at consistently accessible price points.

Graham Stapleton, Chief Operations Officer for Carphone Warehouse comments, “Launching the cheapest iPhone tariff is an exciting move for Carphone Warehouse. Many of our customers want the opportunity to own the iconic Apple handset, but at a tariff that works for them. Even though smartphones are mainstream, there are still thousands of customers who are upgrading from a feature phone to a smartphone, and this deal is perfect for them.”
Graham continues, “As the UK’s largest independent mobile retailer, we are best placed to guarantee customers the best value across feature phones, smartphones and tablets. We’re focused on offering the best possible value on the high street and this tariff is another exciting long term way for us to do this.”

The £17 a month contract is available with O2 and Three.
