HTC launches HTC Touch HD and HTC Touch 3G at Gitex

HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile phone innovation and design, today launched two new devices in the Middle East – the HTC Touch 3G and HTC Touch HD. Highlighting GITEX 2008, the Middle East’s largest technology conference, the new phones, along with many other HTC handsets will be demonstrated within HTC’s booth located at F9-1B in Sheikh Rashid Hall. Continuing HTC’s touch-phone tradition, the Touch 3G and Touch HD utilize TouchFLO, HTC’s finger-touch optimized navigation experience enabling quick, one-touch access to the people, messages and content users want. The HTC Touch HD is an entertainment-focused handset that transforms how people use the Mobile Internet and experience multimedia on the move. Integrating a large 3.8 inch wide-screen VGA display (WVGA), a standard 3.5mm audio jack and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, the HTC Touch HD is the perfect device for multimedia fans.
HTC’s Gitex lifestyle category of devices will be anchored by the new Touch HD, HTC Touch 3G, Touch Diamond and the affordable HTC Touch Viva.
