HP photo printer competition

A few days ago I unboxed the HP Photosmart A532 which had just come in for review from IT247.com In the post I promised that we’d be running a competition here on the site in conjunction with IT247.com to give away a Photosmart A532 printer – A new one not the one I unboxed and reviewed.

So while I am putting together that review it’s time to kick off the competition!

Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 competition

I’ve been hinting that we’d have a new competition for a few weeks and I am pleased to say that the time has come!

Thanks to our friends at Sony Ericsson we have an Xperia X2 to give away. James picked up the X2 at MWC last month and Sony Ericsson are letting us use it as a competition prize.

If you’ve been following the progress of the X2 you’ll no doubt be aware that SE have decided not to make the Xperia X2 available in the UK, indeed it’s only going to be available to buy in a limited number of countries so entering this competition may in fact be one of the only ways of having a chance of getting your hands on the X2!

Motorola Milestone Competition Winner

The competition has been running since the 26th of December and has seen literally thousands of entries. It has taken me the some time to get all of the entries in to one list in Excel and as with other competitions we simply use a random number generator from the internet to randomly select the winner.

So it’s time to announce our winner. Our random number has selected forum member ‘Justin’ who entered via the forum. I’ve already sent you an email Justin but please do get in touch with me to arrange delivery of your Motorola Milestone.

Please join me in congratulating our winner. I’m sorry that not everyone can be a winner but if any of the handset manufacturers wants to give me several thousand handsets to give away I’d be happy to do that! 🙂

If you are wondering how I’ve chosen winners, I added the names of everyone that entered in to an Excel spreadsheet. I then used a website that generates random numbers to pick 10 numbers, these numbers equated to the row numbers in excel that belonged to the winners.
