Some 3D printers allow you to enter the value of the layer resolution, whereas others provide options. This will affect the outcome of the final printed object. Lastly, the extruders of the printer is a key attribute of the device. These allow for the melted printing material to be ejected, and therefore, more than one extruder will allow you to print in different colours and different materials.
