White Mobile launches PAYG services in the UK – and it’s cheap!

sim

White Mobile SIM cards have gone on sale today. The MVNO uses the EE infrastructure and is offering mobile calls for only 6p per minute. The new package will also allow customers to call in the UK for free to others with the MVNO, or for 3p per minute to UK landlines and 6p per minute to UK mobiles. That’s a long way off the 25p plus that other PAYG networks charge!

White Mobile already offer international calling cards but the introduction of the UK PAYG service is new. It was brought to the UK by former Virgin Mobile sales and marketing chief Graeme Hutchinson.

He said: “Prices of PAYG have been going up over the years as other MVNOs try to push people towards contracts. But we believe there is still a genuine appetite for PAYG.

“Customers should not be punished for not being someone who can’t commit to a 24-month bundle.

“Anyone can price at this rate if they want to. We designed a low cost business so we can offer these prices.”

Hutchinson added that in future White Mobile will add micro SIMs to their offering, and perhaps nano SIMs.

With prices getting this low on Pay-As-You-Go it really is a nice alternative to the lengthy contracts that most of the major UK carriers want us on.

If you have been waiting to pick up the Samsung ATIV tablet then tomorrow is your lucky day as Expansys are expecting in their stock. Priced at £549.99 it isn’t cheap but could it be a contender for the iPad? I doubt it but you never know. I’ve used Windows 8 on a tablet and it was a pretty decent experience.

The new Samsung ATIV Tab is designed with a classy hairline finish, and delivers a full Windows 8-based PC experience with superior tablet mobility. Weighing 570g, featuring a 10.1" display, and measuring 8.9mm thick, the ATIV Tab is always ready to go.
It instantly boots up without lagging and comes with Office Home and Student 2013 RT, offering the new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote to help transform the way people get things done at home, school or work.
These applications are fully featured with complete document compatibility, meaning people can open and create any document, make edits on it and share it with others just like we do with PCs.

An 8,200 mAh battery provides enough power to allow you to work on your projects and review or share them virtually anytime and anywhere. Moreover, the ATIV Tab is compatible with a range of Windows-based PC devices and accessories, including printers, keyboards, projectors, external monitors, and other peripherals, through its USB port and uHDMI, with no need to install extra software.

H1

If you are looking for a high quality leather case to protect your Google Nexus 7 then may I suggest you take a look at the PU Leather Case Cover and Flip Stand from Snugg.

Made from high quality leather; the case not only looks and feels great but it also has a few added features.

We all know that getting cases for our tablets is easy and there are thousands of cheap ones on the likes of eBay. From experience, the cheap ones are normally cheap for a reason so why not consider spending a little more on the run up to Christmas and treat yourself to a premium product?

This one is pretty awesome.
