Duke Nukem 3D Kicks Android

b_500_274_16777215_0___images_stories_news_dukenukem3d_duke-nukem-3d-android-gameTapjoy teamed up with Machineworks Northwest to bring an official port of Duke Nukem 3D to Android. Released back in 1991, Duke Nukem 3D has been a staple in the FPS gaming scene for quite a long time. If you haven’t played a Duke Nukem game before, essentially think of a B-rated movie made into a video game, complete with witty one liners and aliens to shoot in the face.

Features:

  • Optimized for all newer multi-touch devices
  • Native support for large tablet sized devices such as the Xoom
  • Dual stick or new “drag to look” controls
  • Installs to SD by default
  • Includes Episode 1
  • Episode 2 and 3 available via Google In App Billing

Duke Nukem 3D for Android comes with 3 episodes. The first episode is £0.61. The remaining two are available through in-app purchases. Graphically, the game comes with some touched up eye candy but for the most part sticks to how it was back in the day. In fact almost everything about it is close to the original as possible minus the fact the controls are on-screen If you’re a Duke Nukem fan or just love retro FPS games in general, this is pretty much a must buy. If you are looking for a viable androidhackers.io alternative, then there are plenty of options to choose from. Check techdee and find the best androidhackers alternatives.

Motorola RAZR delayed

razr-1_4

The chaps over at Clove have this morning posted on their blog that the first batch of Motorola RAZR’s will be delayed until next week, commencing the 7th November

This delay is quite common with brand new devices but we would have liked it if it had arrived as originally planed.

Are you holding out for the RAZR?

Samsung Galaxy W available now on Three

samsung Galaxy W

Are you looking for a new high end Android device without the high cost and size that comes with the Samsung Galaxy SII? Well meet its little brother, the Galaxy W which is now available from Three for £249.99 on PAYG or from £22.00 per month with a contract. The best deal by far would be Three’s One Plan which gives you unlimited data, 2000 minutes and 5000 SMS all for £32.00 per month. Sounds good to me.

Behind the sleek and stylish design of the Samsung Galaxy W is a powerhouse; the phone features a huge 1.4GHz processor for a super-fast experience. With a 3.7, WVGA Super-LCD touchscreen, crisp and clear viewing and the phone also features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus.

We will of course have this one in for review in the near future. In the meantime head on over to Three for more information.
