HTC HD2 advert a real winner

Untitled picture

I’ll be honest with you, this makes me want to buy one. It fully restores the epic feel for an ad that has been lost over the years as advertisers distract from the product and invoke a concept. Here was see the HTC HD2 doing things. Coupled with a great soundtrack and grand word usage it’s advertising at it’s best and gives the flagging Windows Mobile factor a lick of much need paint. Have a look at the video after the break.

Hans on with the X2

WMExperts takes a look at the Xperia X2. The X1 was a nice device and impressed me quite a bit, so I’d saw this second will be something to marvel at. The panel interface looks a bit hot or miss at the moment and there seems to be a few usage problems. I don’t know that the Sim City style interface is anything more than a gimmick but as soon as it is available we’ll get it in for a full evaluation.

Microsoft’s Project Pink Might Be Dead In The Water

To say we were unimpressed with the first leaked shots to come out of Microsofts “Project Pink” would be a bit of an understatement. This was Microsoft’s first in-house foray into the mobile hardware space, and we’d been hearing tales of it for years; yet in the end, what we were seeing was bad enough that we equated the two leaked devices to “a midgie Pre and a Touch Pro crossed with a jellybean”.

And now, it all begins to make sense. We were recently contacted by a source with a seemingly exhaustive knowledge of Microsoft’s Project Pink, and what they’ve shared with us doesn’t sound good. If what they’ve shared is true, it seems that the project as a whole began — and will likely end — in vain.

We’re updating now, let us know how it goes for you in comments — and there’s an iPod touch update too, we’re sure it’s just as fun.
