Skyfire open up private beta

image If you have been frustrated by the closed private beta of the Skyfire web browser the good news is it is now open to everyone, well officially they say US, Canada, and UK, although you might be able to use Skyfire outside the US, Canada and UK, their focus is providing the best user experience for their active countries. Using Skyfire outside these countries is at your own discretion. Currently Skyfire runs on two phone platforms. Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 (3rd edition). Skyfire is a great browser that supports flash so viewing Youtube videos and other flash sites in your browser is now a reality. You can get it here and we will be doing a review video in the next few days.

Blackberry Storm lag issues

Some reports suggest that the firmware was downgraded at the last minute to overcome these problems, seems strange that these problems are only mentioned on the US Verizon version not the Vodafone UK version. Mobility Today think very highly of the device and have produced a video showing the OS in action where you can make your own mind up if it is laggy or not, personally after watching it, it doesn’t seem too bad. See for yourself after the break.
