Another review of the HTC Diamond, this one is definitely worth a read as it is based on the latest Rom and makes interesting reading compared with our review we did back when the device was first released. Check out msmobiles for all the details.
Alli Flowers over at Mobility Today has just posted a great review of eWallet. For anyone who has never used a security app before, you may be wondering why you would need it. You might have your wallet stolen, or lose or misplace a credit card, but you rarely do this and lose or misplace your mobile phone at the same time. Where do you currently keep all your credit card information in case your card is lost or stolen? How many people can answer that quickly, or access that information easily? If you use eWallet, it ceases to be an issue. Store all your credit card information safely and securely in eWallet. Access the information quickly and easily if you need to cancel your card or if you are doing something like making an online purchase and don’t feel like getting up to get your wallet. For the full review head over to Mobility Today.
Looks like someone has taken action against the iPhone 3G’s non-removable battery.
"A new version of its Juice Pack that slides on back and alleges an additional 6 hours of data usage attached to a 3G network. It features an on-board charge indicator in the form of four LEDs and can pass a USB connection through to the iPhone 3G within, simultaneously charging both the Juice Pack and the handset."

IBM’s Lotus Domino Web Access software, also known as IBM Lotus iNotes, will bring your Lotus e-mail, calendar and contact details to the Apple iPhone 3G. IBM says the Lotus functionality is planned for delivery to the iPhone sometime in 2008, although no official announcement has yet been made and the company is stating that Lotus iNotes on the iPhone represents “current IBM plans and directions, which are subject to change.”
BGR has posted a video of what might be the HTC Dream running Android. Looks like a nice phone with another slide out keyboard. Looks like there will be a couple of different colours, last time we saw this phone it was black. The speed of the phone flipping from landscape to portrait seems quite zippy too.
Sam over at Fruit Bytes has just published a very interesting article on Girls and Gadgets and how they are perceived in the wrong light most of the time. I know that we have quite a few female readers on Mobile Tech Addicts and I for one know Mobile Technology is not a male only interest. Many manufacturers have thought they knew how to get girls into spending money on their products which is why we have seen this slew of pink and fluffy phones and cameras, does anyone actually buy these awful things. You can read the full post over at Sam’s blog Fruit Bytes.
T-Mobile will launch RIM’s first tri-band HSDPA 3G handset into the UK in September. Also dubbed the Bold, the network provider will release this on its Business 1-Plan. T-Mobile claims this plan offers a “flexible allowance of voice, data, texts and international calls”. RIM unveiled the Bold earlier this year, but very little has been said about the phone since.
We’ve reported dust problems on mobile devices in the past, most notably the Samsung i600 which suffered greatly with dust getting under the screen.
HTC phones are generally quite good when it comes to dust getting inside so I was surprised to see dust appearing under the screen on Tracy’s HTC Touch Diamond!
It initially looked like a couple of scratches on the screen but when you press them with your finger you can tell that it is in fact a couple of dust particles trapped between the outer screen and the LCD itself.
It’s quite hard to capture on a photograph but you might be able to make it out in the image below.
So, if you are an HTC Touch Diamond owner have you got any dust under the screen?

Here is a quick video of the unboxing of the Celio Redfly. Personally, I think this device is overpriced, given that you can get an Asus Eee PC for the same price. However, as more reviews are hitting the web I think it might win me over. The unboxing is very simple however the review is more thorough, printed in May so you might have already read it.
