Palm optimistic for future

palm windows mobile Mobile handset giant Palm is putting a positive spin on its $43.4 million loss this quarter. The company credited roughly $20 million of that loss to compensation and restructuring costs as it attempts to shift its business plan to better accommodate the consumer smartphone market. Long term test – the new Jawbone

jawbone-earwearWhen I was in the states a few weeks ago I picked up the new Jawbone from an At&T store.  A small sleek black unit, with hidden buttons, leather bound ear loop and the killer feature "Noise Assassin" technology.  Well I’ve been using this device for lots of phone calls, from both my BlackBerry pearl and my T-Mobile Touch Plus (HTC Touch Dual) and I’m now ready to talk about using the device on a day to day basis. Nokia N810 internet tablet unboxed

About a year ago we reviewed the Nokia N800 internet tablet. John was quite impressed with the device but one of the things he felt it was lacking was a QWERTY keyboard.

Howerver, Nokia recently released a new internet tablet, the N810, which includes many enhancements, including a full sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Other enhancements include a faster CPU, newer OS and better software support. On top of that there’s built in GPS and Sat-Nav software which, on that hi res screen, promises to provide a quality navigation solution.

As always, were reviewing the Nokia N810 at the moment but for now here’s our unbox video:
