Samsung T*Omnia announced but only for Korea

image Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, a leading producer of mobile phones, today announced the Korean market launch of “T*OMNIA”, the Korean version of “Samsung OMNIA”. Samsung OMNIA, renamed as “T*OMNIA”, will be available from mid-November under exclusive deal with SK telecom, the largest mobile operator in Korea. Compared to the original Samsung OMNIA, “T*OMNIA” will have upgraded 3.3” WVGA touch screen (480×800) and added Satellite DMB function, an essential feature for Korean users who would like to enjoy Mobile TV and internet with their mobile phones any time, anywhere.

A trio of Touch HD videos

image The Dutch seem to have hit it lucky this weekend and managed to get their hands on the hottest device in Windows Mobile history. We have three videos after the break showing Video and Audio Quality, TouchFlo 3D and finally Opera Mobile 9.5. Windows 7 on an Eee PC 1000H

eeepc-w7 Finding a beta copy of Windows upcoming reinvention of their operating system is fairly simple however some clever chappies have decided it would be interesting/manic to test it on an Eee PC 1000h with some rather positive results. HTC Touch HD user manual

image Thanks to the guys at wmpoweruser for the heads up on this, now you can download the manual for the HTC Touch HD, we have the link right here and I am downloading it now to get myself familiar with anything new ready for receiving mine next week. XDA-Developers also have a very interesting thread going on where you can read and ask questions from a member who has his Touch HD already.

Kinoma Play has the Mobile Tech Addicts Podcast

image Russ has just informed me that the Mobile Tech Addicts Podcast is now listed in the Kinoma Podcast section of their software. Russ has it running on his Xperia X1 and has taken a few screenshots of the podcast part of the software showing us under the mobile section. Good to see us in there and watch out for a full review of Kinoma, not the free but the full version which apparently can sync with iTunes in some way or another. Screenshots after the break.

Vodafone UK officially announce Blackberry Storm

image The Blackberry Storm 9500, the first ever touch-screen BlackBerry smartphone, purpose built for Vodafone, will be available to pre-order from today at www.vodafone.co.uk/storm, through Vodafone’s retail stores and by telesales. Customers can also pre-register interest through Vodafone’s retail partner Phones 4U. The BlackBerry Storm pricing will start from free on a two year contract at £35 per month on a Best for Text plan that will include 600 minutes and unlimited texts*. On Vodafone’s Best for Talk £35 plan customers will receive 700 minutes and 250 texts and unlimited landline or Vodafone to Vodafone calls. Best for Talk and Best for Text Plans also include unlimited internet and email, with Vodafone’s satellite navigation service Find&Go free for the first six months.

HTC Touch HD video in English

image Slashgear have got their hands on the HTC Touch HD and posted a great video review which we have below, also they have done a questions and answers section too where they have confirmed that this phone will not have TV Out. Unfortunately it does not have the chipset required for TV Out so bad news on that one. You can see the video after the break with some of he more interesting questions.

HTC Touch HD and Xperia X1 comparison video

image The guys over at areamobile have put together another video this time giving us a comparison of the Touch HD and the Xperia X1. It’s in German buts its another good opportunity to look at these two high end devices side by side. I don’t see these as competing devices as you either want a device with a slide out keyboard or you don’t, so there is definitely room for both. Customise Touch HD Tabs

image Another video of the Touch HD this time showing how easy it is to customise the tabs on the bottom of the screen in TouchFlo 3d. We should have ours next week so expect a massive review with videos and high res pictures aplenty. Personally really looking forward to getting my hands on this device. Video after the break.
