We have talked many times on the blog and podcast about the problems with the iPhone 3G no longer charging through the old Firewire charging pins and the trouble this caused with iPod docks but most commonly with car integration kits like the Dension range. Well we ordered the Cable Jive charge converter and tested it out and have done a video look at it in action. You can see the video after the break and see the results of the tests.
LG’s site is now showing a phone which goes by the model KS20, this is a Windows Mobile Professional device with a QVGA screen, HSDPA, 2 Mega Pixel camera, WiFi b and g, push email and runs the Windows Mobile 6 OS, no mention of 6.1 which seems strange for a new device. Dimensions are 99.8mm x 58mm x 12.8mm weighing in at 92.5g. A few pictures after the break.

Leaked photos from nedge2k.com have revealed a new HTC T8290, with its front looking like the HTC Touch Diamond but it has a much bigger touch screen. The HTC T8290 is said to be a GSM + WiMax device, with a 3.8-inch display and an impressive 800 x 480 WVGA HD matching resolution, built in WiFi and Bluetooth. The back of the T8290 is showing a Yota logo, which is a Russia WiMaX network provider. This may explain why HTC are not planning on bringing the Touch HD to the US. Pictures and specs after the break.
The Xperia X1 that we were expecting to be released on the 30th September has now been delayed till the last week of October. This is strange news as Sony Ericsson’s blog stated a few weeks ago that the devices were leaving the factory to the stores in the UK, Something must have gone wrong somewhere and hopefully this date will not slip any further. Thanks to forum member RussST24 for the heads up.
Just spotted this video that has just been added to Youtube in the last 18 hours and it is another bit of Touch HD eye candy, this time it’s a Czech site that has a Touch HD and they have shared a ten minute video of the device for your viewing pleasure. As usual we don’t speak Czech so don’t know what’s being said but it didn’t stop us just longing to get a Touch HD oh and drooling a bit too. Check out the video after the break.
