Lenovo Yoga Tablet

Lenovo Yoga TabletYesterday Lenovo announced another new Tablet to join its existing lineup. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet will be the worlds first multimode tablet and like the Yoga laptops in the range will be able to function in a number of orientations.

From a side-view the Yoga Tablet looks a little like an Apple Wireless Keyboard and it really is that slim, and will be available in both 8 and 10 inch varieties with either WiFi and 3G or WiFi only. The top model with 32GB of flash memory.

Quite surprisingly, unlike the Yoga 13 that we looked at recently, these new tablets will run Android OS rather than Windows 8.

As I’m now one of the LNVO INSDRS, I should be getting some hands on time with the Lenovo Yoga Tablet shortly so watch this space for our videos and review.

Lenovo ideatab A3000 unboxing video

Lenovo ideatab A3000 unboxing video imagesWith so many Android tablets on the market at the moment it can be hard to make a choice between them and with various sizes, various prices and various manufacturers it has become a bit of a mine field.

When making a choice, many consumers will opt for the brands that they recognise but all too often this can result in having to pay premium prices. That doesn’t have to be the case though and perhaps with the Lenovo ideatab range there is something of a compromise to be found.

Lenovo have a great reputation in the PC market and not too long ago set their sites more firmly on the consumer market. There are now a few tablets in the Lenovo range and we’ll be taking a look at them all over the coming weeks.

We’re starting here with our Lenovo ideatab A3000 unboxing video, where we look at what’s included with the tablet, tour around the hardware and demo some of the features of the device.

The A3000 that we have for review is the WiFi only version. This has a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB ram, 4GB rom and 7-inch 1024×600 display. There’s also a 3G version available and even a dual-sim model too.

So check out our unboxing below and we’ll have the review for you soon as well.

Joining LNVO INSDRS

LNVO INSDRS logo red If you’ve been following me on Twitter lately you may have spotted a few tweets from me about Lenovo. Several weeks ago Lenovo invited me to join their exclusive community of influencers, the LNVO INSDRS. There are just 20 of us that are part of this program.

Last night our group of INSDRS met for the first time at an event in London where we we all introduced to the current range of Lenovo products including the Yoga Ultrabook, Android Tablets, Thinkpads and Horizon Table PC.

Over the coming months we’ll be getting our hands on a variety of Lenovo products to review. We’ll be able to share exclusive content, be covering events and generally getting close to the action with Lenovo.

We’ll be starting out with a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 Convertible Ultrabook, which will be my first time getting my hands on a touchscreen Windows 8 device. Watch this space!

I’ll leave you with one interesting fact about Lenovo: Lenovo Laptops are the only laptops certified for use on the International Space Station!
