HTC HD2 Car Pack Mini Review

When the HTC HD2 was released it created a huge amount of interest and it still does now, a few months on. There are a few options available for mounting the HD2 in car and here we have a very cost effective option courtesy of mobilefun.co.uk

As you can see from the above photo the holder can be positioned in both portrait and landscape. This is perfect is you are using Sat Nav on the HD2. I used my HD2 and TomTom for a few days with the HD2 Car Pack and the holder did a great job. In particular it is nice and simple when switching from portrait to landscape. No need to twiddle knobs, just grab the phone and twist to the position you want.

When initially mounting the holder in your car its dead simple to get it comfortable. The holder has two joints in its ‘arm’ and each of these joints contains a button. A press of the button allows for the ‘arm’ to be re-positioned making the holder suit any area of the car you wish to place it.

The holder also comes complete with a car charger to ensure you don’t run out of battery while you are out cruising with your HTC HD2.

Conclusion:

In the few days I used this holder I was more than happy with it. Although its a budget car holder (as you can pay £60 for one) it doesn’t feel like it. It feels well constructed and extremely sturdy.
