HP delivering more tablets

HP-Slate-7-HD-Android-officialHP are back on with their Android tablets. Not too long ago HP shared they would be bringing out some new Android tablets, and they have delivered big time. They have officially launched four new Android tablets. The Slate 7 HD, Slate 7 Extreme, Slate 8 Pro and Slate 10 HD. Here’s a quote with a breakdown of specs:

The Slate 7 HD and Slate 10 HD share many of their features, but obviously have different screen sizes: 7 inch, and 10 inch (both with 1280 x 800 pixels). They offer optional 4G connectivity, Beats Audio, front and rear cameras, and a similar design.
HP says the Slate 7 HD and Slate 10 HD will be released in the US in November – no word on how much they cost, and neither on what version of Android they’ll run at launch. According to HP, “certain models of the Slate HD and Slate 10 HD include two years of free mobile internet service – up to 200 MB of 4G data per month – on the T-Mobile network.”
Next, the HP 7 Extreme comes with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, a 7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixels display, a “a precision stylus pen”, and “room-booming audio with front firing speakers.”
Finally, the HP 8 Pro sports a 7.98 inch display with 1600 x 1200 pixels (that’s an iPad Mini competitor here), featuring a quad-core Tegra 4 processor, 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera.
