Full specs of HTC Flyer revealed?

HTC Flyer

We just got sent a link to amobil.no, a Norwegian site that appears to have been tipped on the specs of HTC’s forthcoming tablet.

HTC Flyer will be a tablet measuring 7 inches, and the screen resolution will be 1024 x 600 pixels. This is the same size and resolution that we know from Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The processor will be the the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255. Most will know this as the brains in HTC’s current top of the range, the Desire HD.

The new tablet will have HSPA, otherwise known as super-3G. This gives it download speeds of up to 14,4 Mbps, and upload speeds of 5,76 Mbps.

The Flyer will also sport an HDMI-connector (MHL), and it will be DLNA-enabled for wireless streaming of movies and music.

iPad 2 specification?

ipad_display Over the past few weeks there have been lots of new ‘stories’ about the forthcoming iPad 2. Some of these stories make sense whereas others seem downright silly.

The consensus is that Apple will announce the iPad 2 at some point in February or March and that it’ll go on sale some time during March or April. I’m hoping that it will go on sale just before my next trip to the US.

I’ve been considering the various iPad 2 rumours we’ve seen and thought it would be good to have a look at some of them and to consider which are the most realistic.
