Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi Launches in the UK

vodafone_wifi_hotspot_r201_h1_2 Vodafone UK has launched the Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi (R201), a mobile broadband device that allows up to five people to simultaneously connect to the internet over the Vodafone network.

Available free on a £25, 18 month price plan including 5GB of mobile data, the new device makes it possible for Wi-Fi enabled products, such as laptops and tablet PCs, games consoles and music players, to simultaneously access to the internet through a single Vodafone mobile broadband connection, making it ideal for staying connected on the move.

The device is designed to be easy to set up and use, incorporating a display screen to provide information about the type and strength of signal available, Wi-Fi connectivity and battery life.

Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi also gives customers great flexibility when it comes to connecting to the Vodafone network, giving them a choice of using either USB or Wi-Fi to get online. Connecting over Wi-Fi allows users to position the device in order to maximise the available Mobile Broadband signal, giving them the freedom to work anywhere within range of the Wi-Fi connection.

Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi offers users a great performance over the Vodafone’s reliable mobile network and also has the capacity to support up to 32GB Micro SD memory cards, which can be purchased separately.

It is nice to see the 3 MiFi getting some competition. Will we see this new Vodafone one on pre pay I wonder?
