Using Joost on the go

joost-thumb Here is an excellent recommendation from Tilt Mobility for the superb Joost software. I would highly agree with this service, I personally have used if for the past year and enjoyed countless episodes of The Transformers and dodgy no budget horror films. Check it out after the break.

Some of you may already know about Joost (they streamed the NCAA basketball tournament). It’s an online media host that lets you stream tons of content from TV shows (like Friends, Married with Children, Made, Daily Show – sometimes entire shows and other times clips) music videos across all genres (the even have ‘channels’ that just stream certain types of music continuously) and movies (like the entire Fifth Element is there to stream). They just updated Joost so that it runs within a browser and no longer needs standalone software. And what does this all mean to Tilt users? If you’re using Skyfire that means you can stream Joost to your Tilt and if you’ve tried Skyfire with YouTube you know how high the quality is.

Head on over to Joost and give it a try. It worked pretty good for me running it on Skyfire on AT&T’s EDGE Network.
