Xperia ray runs on the latest Android platform for smartphones (Gingerbread 2.3) and packs in a powerful 1Ghz processor. With a 3.3″ screen and at only 9.4mm thin, Xperia ray incorporates market leading design with outstanding functionality. The XperiaT ray also features a Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA® Engine, an 8.1mp camera with HD video functionality and Sony’s award-winning Exmor R for mobile sensor with a f/2.4 lens for a crystal clear image, which enables the capture of high quality, bright pictures and HD videos even in low light.

David Hilton, Sony Ericsson UK Marketing Director says: “It is an amazing opportunity for Sony Ericsson to show off the handset’s outstanding capabilities with the help of the brilliant Ben Rayner. We continue to work on providing consumers with a rich, entertaining experience and Xperia Unseen is yet another example of this.  The series and Ben Rayner’s expert imaging skills help bring the crystal clear, high-calibre camera in the Xperia ray to life.”

Ben Rayner, celebrity photographer, whose work has been published in fashion magazines including Vogue and GQ, says: “I had a blast shooting videos and taking photos with the incredibly beautiful XperiaT ray. It is a photographer’s dream – very few handsets having the ability to capture brilliant imagery in low light conditions. The sharp camera that comes with Exmor RT, HD and BRAVIA engine capabilities, has now made this possible."

Along with the three part film, Sony Ericsson’s Facebook page will also host behind the scene photos, a Q&A with Daisy and Ben, an Xperia ray how-to video from photography expert Ben and competitions (http://www.facebook.com/SonyEricssonUK).
