Samsung Omnia Pro Revealed

Still remember the Samsung B7610 Louvre we featured way back in April? It turns out that the Louvre is actually the newest Omnia from the company, the Samsung Omnia Pro. Taking a cue from HTC where their Pro version such as the HTC Touch Pro2 features a QWERTY keypad, Samsung does the same with the Omnia Pro. More details and pics after the break.

Aside from that, this new Omnia also comes with a 3.5-inch AMOLED 480×800 touchscreen display, 5.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 800MHz processor, WiFi with DLNA support, Bluetooth, GPS, HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity, FM radio, DivX/WMV/H.264 acceleration, TV-out, 3.5mm headphone hack, and 1GB internal memory expandable via microSDHC card (up to 32GB). The Omnia Pro also features two user interfaces you can easily switch between with just one click of a button – a Pro for work and a Media for, well, media content.
With so many features, we’re curious how its 1500 mAH battery can hold up. We’ll probably find out in August when it’s expected to be released. Too bad, though, that it still runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, but hey, with everything else about it a notch higher than the current Omnia, we can overlook that small let down.
