PicSay for Android – Quick Review

PicSay - Photo Editor - Android Market

When it comes to Photo Editors there are quite a few on the market which will give you half decent results, but PicSay (and even more so the “pro” version), delivers more than most. PicSay is available for Android Smartphones and can be found in the Android Market.

Wrapped in a simple, easy to use interface it includes, alongside the technical effects of exposure, contrast, brightness etc, a fantastic choice of distortion, colour adjustment, artistic and photo effects such as lomo, faux HDR, tilt shift etc.. You can also add stickers, emoticons, word balloons (with innumerable colour and style options) and it has the ability to superimpose parts of another photo (someone’s head for example) onto your original snapshot. You can also upload your masterpiece straight to Facebook or FlickR etc in a couple of clicks. All in all, a super photo editor that “does what it says on the tin”. The “Pro” version is a little on the expensive side at around £2.50 ($4.14), but in my humble opinion is well worth it if you are into this sort of thing.
