Orange Daily Mobile Internet Bundle for EU surfing

Just last week the EU issued a directive telling mobile operators that they must reduce the cost of data for users roaming in Europe. Whether as a direct result of that directive or not Orange have today announced that they will have a new daily browsing bundle for Pay Monthly, Dongle and Small Business customers. The bundle will offer 30MB per day for £3, a significant saving over roaming without a bundle.

Orange today announces the launch of its new EU mobile internet browsing daily bundle, which offers all Pay Monthly, dongle and Small Business customers 30MB for just £3 a day. This new offer is being made available in time for the summer holiday season to give Orange customers greater transparency and even better value when browsing abroad.

If a customer doesn’t use any data on a particular day, they won’t pay, so this bundle is ideal for purchasing before going on holiday and using as and when it is needed. The bundle starts at midnight local time and is reset so the customer has another 30MB to use for the next 24 hour period.

This launch follows the recent introduction of the refreshed monthly and 30 day EU mobile internet browsing bundles for consumers. Pay Monthly customers now have the option of £15/30MB, £50/150MB or £150/500MB monthly bundles for EU visits. For one off trips, these can be purchased as 30 day bundles. Alongside the new daily offering, these bundles will help customers control spending and provide peace of mind when browsing the internet or accessing emails on their phones while travelling in European countries.
