HTC Invests in new European and UK Headquarters

Following on from HTC’s announcement today about the new HTC EVO 3D they also opened their new European and UK headquarters. Based in Slough the new headquarters opening was attended by Ed Vaizey MP, the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries, The Worshipful the Mayor of Slough, Sukhjit Dhaliwal, Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation, members of the HTC board and Florian Seiche, President of HTC EMEA.

HTC Corporation, a global designer of mobile devices, today opened the doors to its new European and UK headquarters based in Slough in a ceremony officiated by Ed Vaizey MP, the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries. The ceremony was attended by The Worshipful the Mayor of Slough, Sukhjit Dhaliwal, Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation, members of the HTC board and Florian Seiche, President of HTC EMEA, who highlighted this important milestone in the company’s history, affirming HTC’s commitment to consumers, operators and partners across the region.

HTC’s European operations have grown steadily over recent years to encompass more than 50 territories. Its commitment to Europe has influenced HTC’s global strategy through engagement, investment in local talent and strategic partnerships with local and regional operators and partners. It has also been a source of new inspiration to the designers and engineering teams behind HTC’s expanding portfolio of mobile devices, delivering experiences that strongly resonate with local cultures. Melding Eastern culture with Western ideals, HTC has developed a fast-paced innovation environment and people-centric business model that has propelled the company to a global consumer brand. The investment in the EMEA market’s own headquarters symbolises the rapid growth HTC has experienced in recent years.

The new facility will house the senior management, sales & marketing and engineering teams for HTC EMEA and HTC UK. It offers great transport links with easy access to London and the major travel hubs for the rest of Europe.
