Everything Everywhere will soft launch a new concept store in the White City Westfield shopping centre in west London this weekend before its official opening on Monday.

The store (pictured), is the 20th EE branded store to be opened in the UK and a former T-Mobile store,  will be the first to offer a dedicated in-store service team to support customers needs and sports a new store design to support these needs face to face.

Like the other EE stores across the country it will sell both Orange and T-Mobile products.

All 18 staff at the new store, which is the second largest EE branded store in the operator’s estate, have been trained prior to the opening with a particular focus on the technology, service and product needs of customers.

This focus is further reflected through a dedicated “lounge zone” where customers are able to sit with store staff who can explain how products and services work.

There will also be three zones throughout the store which EE says will provide customers with a “unique shopping” experience, relevant to their needs.

The ‘Connected on the Go’ zone is designed for customers looking to make the use of mobile devices and tablets on the move. For the first time in EE stores, all devices in this area will be stocked according to operating system.

The ‘Connected at Home’ zone, is designed to look and feel like a lounge within a home and showcase products and services such as Orange Home Broadband, entertainment systems and streaming technology.

Finally the ‘Connected while you Play’ zone features an interactive area where customers can trial applications and mobile games either on devices or on large scale screens.

The store will also be the first throughout EE’s estate, including Orange and T-Mobile stores feature a variety of new lifestyle products to compliment existing Orange and T-Mobile mobile offerings.

These include Sonos home sound systems , GoFlex storage solutions and home surveillance and internet systems from D-Link.

New and existing Orange and T-Mobile will receive extra discounts on such products when purchasing a new handset.

Speaking about the launch EE vice president of retail Andrew Coull said: “This concept store is the ultimate expression of our retail philosophy – to be interactive, experience led and a one stop shop for customer queries.”

“Customers want to be connected to the things and people that matter most to them most wherever they are and this store does that by offering the best service, products, plans and shopping experience in the market under one roof.”
