Chat for Facebook Pro – BlackBerry Application

Chat for Facebook Pro is a new BlackBerry app that has recently appeared in BlackBerry App World. Like the title suggests the app will allow you to use Facebook chat from your BlackBerry. This app is not the first to so this as many of the integrated instant messaging apps such as Trillian, Nimbuzz and IM+ offer the same, but where this one is quite nice is that the interface is very much like Facebook and at 79 pence it wont break the bank meaning you can always be in touch with your Facebook friends while out and about.

Once you open the application for the first time you will be asked to log in.

Once logged in your online friends will appear as a list with their avatar showing to the right.

Threaded chat is supported as you would expect. Looks good doesn’t it?

If someone instigates a chat with you a notification will appear on your home screen as seen below. Within your BlackBerry settings you have the option to choose the notification sound and volume like with all other apps.

I’m pretty impressed with this app. At 79 pence it’s a real bargain. Why not head over to App World and check it out?
