Change, a phone we can believe in
Next week the entire world will welcome a new American president. Barack Obama is wildly popular around the world, but nowhere is more excited than Kenya, the birthplace of the President-elect’s father. How is Kenya celebrating the inauguration? With an Obama branded cell phone, obviously. Mi-fone, a maker of low end mobiles for Africa and South Asia has created a budget handset for the Kenyan market in order to cash in on that country’s love of the future president. If someone were to create a phone to cash in on a politician, I don’t think there is a better choice these Days Than Obama. The phone features dual band GSM, a built in FM radio, an LED light, and a 4.5 hour talk time. The phone should be available now for around $30.
