Bowers & Wilkins and Maserati P5 headphones

Bowers & Wilkins and Italian car manufacturer Maserati are dropping a special-edition pair of P5 portable headphones in the coming weeks. Having previously released an Maserati Edition 805 loudspeaker this makers the second collaboration between the two companies. The over-ear headphones sport the iconic Masterati Trident motif and feature a racing blue colour scheme. Whilst the “cans” have no active noise cancellation, they are made Apple friendly, with in-line microphone . Features also include gold-plated connectors, a remote control and sealed-leather earpads.

The Trident was designed by Mario Maserati in 1926, based on the statue of Neptune in the fountain of Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore.

Like the original P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphone, P5 Maserati Edition is supplied with a Made For iPhone® approved cable, which allows for speech and device control, as well as a high-quality, standard audio cable with gold-plated plugs. Switching between the two is facilitated by the magnetically attached ear pads, which simply pop off allowing access to the cable.
