Think of it as "Twitpic for sounds instead of pictures". Brilliant idea! ... but we are not certain about execution.
Here is how this app looks like:
Sample audio posted by this app (not done by ourselves, but by author of this app) is here.
As you can see/hear it requires quicktime and is not playable with any web browser with Flash.
We are not certain that TweetMic servers and sounds posted there will last - but we like the idea! It would be nice if podcast hosting companies would come up with such idea and offer it as service to Twitter clients like tweetie. However such sound byte hosting with one front app for it - might be not sustainable and you would like to lose your recordings obviously...
