Could The HTC J Butterfly phone be the next offering from the Taiwanese company? The word on the street is that HTC have teamed up with Sharp to offer a device with a 5 inch display with an industry-leading 440 pixels per inch - blimey! The Android device is allegedly going on sale in Japan in December this year.

HTC's 440ppi - pixels per inch - resolution offers a performance-boost over rival flagship devices including Samsung's similarly-sized Galaxy Note 2 with a 267ppi screen. Apple's iPhone 5 offers 326ppi, Nokia's upcoming Lumia 920 332ppi and LG's Optimus G 318ppi. To support the facility, HTC has included Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

Clearly we have no news regarding the device from HTC UK so whether it will grace our shores is still yet to be announced.
