With the roll out of EE's 4G network to 11 major cities in the UK many mobile customers will be wondering if it is worth upgrading to a 4G plan, or even a switch from their current carrier to EE just to benefit from the super fast data connection.

The EE price plans and data allowances are not quite as good as I thought they would be but depending on what you use your smartphone for may well dictate if 4G is for you or not.

So to help you make up your mind I am going on a mission. Next week I will be in possession of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from EE and I shall be travelling around the London area and outskirts where they say they have LTE coverage performing speed tests.

We clearly know from already testing the service at a recent event in London that the speeds are really impressive but what I want to establish is if they are consistent or if now that the service has rolled out to the public if speeds are being affected by the number of users now on 4G.

So watch out next week for our 4G speed test results. It should be pretty interesting.
