SGS3

According to mobilenewscwp some bad dudes have stolen 8000 of Samsungs SGS3's from distributor RP Europe, worth over £2.2 million.

One source said: "RP Europe has fallen victim at a time when handset demand is high. While the firm is undoubtedly insured, its cash flow will be hit for the immediate period."

Another said: "Distributors are on alert for cheap stock but the likelihood is they have already been sold abroad."

Although neither RP Europe or Thames Valley Police have made official comments it is believed that the smartphones were stolen while in transit which unfortunately happens way to often here in the UK.

Let's hope the robbers are caught and the theft doesn't affect stock levels at retailers.
