HTC Touch Diamond promo video

May 7th, 2008

Here's another video for you from the HTC press conference yesterday. This is the official HTC Touch Diamond promo video. You can probably expect to see this video cropping up all over the web and there is even talk of this advert, or a version of it, being used on the TV here in the UK.

Still more photos and video to come.

Do you have any new piece of info about the other two models... mainly HTC Touch Dual Pro? Any idea when it can appear? THX

HTC were unable to comment on the other devices that we are expecting to see later this year but reading between the lines I would say any other devices are likely to be months rather than weeks away.

:-( . Thanks for the reply!

It is clear that they want to exploit alle the financial potential of this baby, but what I want is a keypad... I hope that SE Xperia will show them that waiting does not pay off.

Time will tell. Having played with the xperia a little yesterday I think that a Diamond with a keyboard (Raphael) will be give it a run for it's money.

HTC have promised that we'll be getting a Diamond from the first shipment to arrive from Taiwan early in June.

The other thing about the Diamond is that there are so many little features that you'll probably discover new things every day for weeks. Latest thing I learned was that the LED's around the d-pad blink in different sequences to alert you to different things. For example they throb when you have voicemail, spin in a circle when you receive an SMS and blink for email!

It is definitely a nice toy, but without the keypad... no way. Looking forward to read the review anyway.
