Just a quick video here for you as I've had quite a few emails today from people struggling to get the back cover off their new HTC TyTN II. You need to remove the cover in order to insert the battery.
Getting the back of the TyTN II
It does feel like you are pushing the cover too hard when you first do it, it's pretty stiff.
EDIT: You can see our TyTN II review HERE.

Thanks for your video. It did not work for me, so I thought I'd share how I was able to open the cover. I took out the stylus, stuck my fingernail between the cover and the usb pot at the bottom of the phone, wiggled it a little, then pushed straight toward the top of teh phone. It popped right off. After that it was a piece of cake! Thanks again. Hope this works for you guys and gals still trying!!

Waited over 2 weeks for phone as out of stock so couldn't wait to get started but just couldn't open the back. After 1/2 hour between me and my father we looked at your video and aided with a pair of Marigolds, got it open at last! The grippey bit on the thumb of the gloves was the key in the end. Cheers, excellent site!
