It's been a long time coming but finally the HTC Advantage is available to buy! Our friends at Clove Technology kindly let us have a look at the device so, following on from our popular Samsung i600 unboxed video, I am pleased to bring you our HTC Advantage unboxing video!
The video above is a quick tour of the device as well as a look at what accessories you get in the box. I'm now off to play with the device for a while and will be back in the near future with a demonstration of the HTC Advantage in use as well as posting a review.
You can also download a higher res version using this link.
If you want to go and buy an HTC Advantage they are now in stock at Clove Technology and you you take a look at our Advantage Voucher post you can save a further £15 off the purchase price!

ps: please show while typing in both ways.
The machine frequently locks up or operates so slowly as to be unusable. ActiveSync took all night - yes 14 hours to sync. (TyTn took 15 mins (I have 8000 contacts).
If I cannot locate a solution it is going back
I've not had any problems with my Advantage, in fact it's very fast and smooth. No lock-ups, battery life is amazing.
Have you installed any software on the device that could be causing a problem?
Matt
Have installed various programs, all working fine.
So far I'm very happy with my Advantage - except for the fact that my ROM-version leaves the lower part (1/2") of my todayscreen unavailable for any plugins (probably set aside for shortcuts but is not used).
But that's an issue with the installed ROM, not the device!
how long before the review of the 7500 and the video ?
Matt
I just got the x7501 but have had no ActiveSync problems. It synchronized within a few minutes (about 1000 contacts, 6 months of calendar items and 1 month of emails).
However, I have experienced all of your ActiveSync problems before on my TyTN, and since I oversee the maintenance of the Exchange Servers at our offices I can confidently tell you that 100% of problems were either caused by or due to the Exchange servers, not the PDA.
Of course this is not to say that your PDA could not be the source of the problem. It's just that none of the one at our offices have been in the past year.
Whenever you feel like ActiveSync is having strange issues, try resetting your device's key on the server by removing all Exchane server sync relationships from your phone and adding them again after everything gets deleted from your phone.
I hope this helps!
BTW, no JETCET on the x7501. it's odd as printing is in the specs.
"stronger" than my Nokia cOMMUNICATOR (re intenet access)
and it also looks as if it will be easier to type on
for writing longish word documents. Is this right? And thanks fot the comments to date on the site - v helpful. Ian
First time I have visited your site and it has inspired me.
Having a site like your is helpful to new users of equipment etc but I have realsed its great way of blagging new equipment from re-sellers.
Thanks for the idea I hope to have my site up and running very soon.
Regards
Kevin
