Sony updates all their tablets to ICS

sony_tablet_s1_1-420-90For owners of any of the Sony Android Tablets, you may be thrilled to learn that a new update will be rolling out OTA to you by the end of May, and that update is called Ice Cream Sandwich! Just today, Sony confirmed that ALL of their Android tablets in ALL regions will be receiving an OTA rollout of Android 4.0 by the end of May. Also, along with the tastiness of Ice Cream Sandwich, this update also brings a panoramic camera mode, an updated gallery viewer with SD card access, and some new enhancements to the web browser.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 – available now on Three

Another Android device hits Three today and once again an affordable option.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is now available online at www.three.co.uk and from 25th May in all Three stores.

A step up from the Samsung Galaxy Ace, the Ace 2 brings a whole host of improvements to a very popular smartphone. The affordable phone has a large 3.8″ WVGA screen which makes viewing pictures, watching videos and playing the latest apps a pleasure. New BlackBerry TV adverts revealed

Earlier today BlackBerry UK released, via their YouTube channel, three new TV adverts which follow on from their first in the latest marketing campaign that we saw a couple of weeks ago.

These new three are shorter than the original but feature specific phone features or devices. NFC, web browsing and BBM Music are all targeted and they are incorporated with pushing the BlackBerry Curve 9320, Bold 9900 and Bold 9790.

Nice to see more of the good stuff coming our way.

Another relatively low cost, compact Android smartphone hits the selves today. The Sony Xperia U may not be the biggest but inside it is packing some pretty nice specs.

The Sony Xperia U is now available online at www.three.co.uk and from tomorrow (22nd May 2012) in all Three stores.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is now available to pre-order from T-Mobile. Customers can place their orders directly by visiting the T-Mobile website.

Both colour variants are available and although, as usual, there are a whole range of tariff options. T-Mobile are recommending the package which is £49.99 for the handset and then £36 a month for 24 months.

This is the Full Monty deal you will will get the following as part of your package:

  • Unlimited internet
  • Unlimited texts
  • 2000 minutes to any network
  • Plus unlimited T-Mobile calls

That is a lot for your money but it is also a big commitment as with any 24 month contract.
