Angry Birds arrives for the BlackBerry PlayBook

ab

This one has been a while coming but good news PlayBook owners. Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio are now all in BlackBerry App World.

Priced at £4.99 each they are not cheap but they do bring hours of fun. I have already downloaded ‘seasons’ and I can say it is as smooth and fluid as on other platforms and feels great playing it on the 7 inch tablet.

This just goes to prove what a wonderful OS QNX really is.

Everything Everywhere rolls out its interactive advertising to T-Mobile users

EE Orange_and_T-Mobile_Merger_Creates_Everything_Everywhere_xlarge

Everything Everywhere has started the roll out of its interactive SMS/MMS mobile advertising service to selected segments of the T-Mobile customer base for the very first time. The new service which launches on T-Mobile this month, provides a powerful platform for brands to engage and interact with T-Mobile customers and follows the success of Orange Shots which launched last year.

Under the consumer facing name of ‘You Choose’ from T-Mobile, the service will enable brands to deliver fun and creative content specifically tailored to T-Mobile pay as you go and pay monthly customers preferences. The service works by then developing a dialogue with customers to understand more about their interests whilst in return they benefit by only receiving tailored and useful content from great brands that are relevant to them.

Festive BlackBerry bargains

Screen Shot 2011-12-20 at 22.57.11

I just popped over to the UK BlackBerry website where they have links for some pretty good deals on BlackBerry Curves, the 9360 and 9300.

The links are through various retailers/networks but the prices look pretty keen both on contract and on pay as you go.

You can pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9360 on PAYG for only £219 which is the cheapest I have seen it. Or alternatively contract prices start from  £20.50 per month.

Why not head over to the site here and maybe grab yourself a last minute Christmas gift?
