BIC Branded Phone to Be Sold in Spain

On sale in supermarkets and local stores (tobacconists, newsagents, petrol stations, stations and airports…), the BIC mobile phone focuses on the basic functions for a telephone: sending and receiving calls and SMS’s.

The Spanish BIC phone provides the same features as its French cousin, with some minor adaptations specifically for the local market. It is on sale at the recommended price of 29 Euros. The offer includes 20 minutes of calls valid for 2 months from the time the mobile is activated.

The BIC phone has achieved sales of over 110,000 units since it was first launched in France in August 2008 and a consumer research conducted by LH2 with a sample of 600 respondents showed that the BIC phone really is the "must-have" phone for people who are looking for simplicity

Android powered Xperia coming soon

image A website called mobile.nu have discovered what appears to be “internal documents” on Sony Ericsson’s forthcoming Android-powered phone, an XPERIA codenamed Rachael. Rachael is rumoured to have a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, HSPA date and a 8MPcamera. The screen size is unknown, but looks like it could be anywhere from 3.5 to 4.1-inch and yes there’s a there is a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This is all we know so far but it is one lovely looking Android handset, Xperia has previously been a Windows Mobile brand for Sony Ericsson.

HTC Hero About To Fly Into The US

Yes folks, you heard it right. Even though nothing was mentioned at the press release a few days ago the now very famous HTC Hero has been spotted on the FCC website today. Covering WCDMA on Bands II and V (1900 and 850MHz) it would suggest that it will be going to AT&T subscribers as this is what they would need to flip the switch on high-speed data, however we’re not sure if this negates rumours that the Hero would be going to Sprint instead.

Either way it don’t really matter but one thing is for sure, Americans will now be well chuffed.

Pink iPhone 3Gs Appears

No ladies, I’m really sorry but this is not an intentional colour release by Apple, its the colour the phone turns (or glows) due to an overheating problem.

hot iPhone
A new meaning to iPhone’s are HOT

Its certainly not the first time iPhones have had their problems with overheating but this is certainly new in the fact that the white version gives a nice warm plink glow.

Hero of Sparta for iPhone – review

image Hero of Sparta is number one among top paid apps in iTunes USA and several other countries so here we are reviewing this game. It costs only $0.99 so it is also extremely cheap and since we are cheap skates we like this price.

So what is this Sparta? Sparta was a city in Greece – a country in East Europe – and Spartans were known as the best warriors in the whole ancient Greece. Compared to Spartans, pro wrestlers are little girls.

In this game, touted by its developer as "full-3D", you are King Argos, so quite a honcho Spartan. Apart from fighting regular other warriors, you are fighting also mythical creatures from Greek mythology.

Here is how this app looks like:

HTC Touch Pro 2

I have to admit that I’m excited about this device. I haven’t yet posted any of my thoughts or comments regarding the Touch Pro 2 but being a BIG fan of HTC as a brand and the Touch HD and Touch Pro 1 as handsets this pretty much covers everything you could want.

If anyone has one and wants to give me a “long term” shot then feel free to get in touch :0) .

You can read our review of the touch pro 2 (in 3 parts) or view the unboxing video online now.
